There are more than 10,000 applications available for the iPad, both paid and free. There are many that are extremely interesting and there are others who are not of any use. With the desire to direct my readers about what they may be useful, I share what my 20 favorites.

Evernote. This is the digital Swiss army knife that allows you to store all kinds of information, organize it into notebooks and folders, assign labels and many other options. The information is synchronized to the cloud, so you can access it from any browser, your computer and your smartphone. Pages. This is an excellent word processor that lets you create documents with a variety of templates, and can export to PDF or Word documents. Price € 7.99
Photoshop Express. This is a shortened version of the computer application. It lets you do basic retouching as cropping, rotating and straightening. If you like photography and download images in the Camera Kit iPad will find this application an excellent complement. Price FREE
Keynote. The version for Mac OS is the best on the market, and now we have it available in the iPad. This program to make presentations, offer very attractive transition effects, and if you want you can export presentations to PowerPoint format. It is a very useful sales tool. Price € 7.99
Numbers. If you need to work with spreadsheets on your iPad this is the best option available. It does not offer as many features as the Mac version, but allows you to create very professional documents and enough options to work the vast majority of spreadsheets. Price € 7.99
Wall Street Journal. IPAD application of this great newspaper is the best I've found on the App Store, with the possibility of sharing social networking articles, save them to your user account and check the stock exchanges. You must be registered to read it, and the free account gives you limited access to the content. Price FREE
Cool Hunting. This application will update the world of design, culture, technology, and all the new trends worldwide. Price FREE
TED. If you like watching TED talks, will find this application very useful, you can see all the talks browse, search by subject, and the best download and archive your iPad for you to view offline. GoodReader. This application allows me to read documents in PDF and other formats of Microsoft Office and iWork. The interface is great for reading books and magazines that you may have in any of these formats. Price € 2.39
Zinio. This application will allow you to buy many magazines at prices lower than the print versions. The reading experience is very good and is almost like reading a paper magazine, with the advantage of not occupying space, you can send articles by email and some magazines offer you video and embedded audio. iBooks. It's my favorite ebook reader, gives you an excellent reading experience. You can read books free ePub format and PDF. Unfortunately Apple has not reached an agreement with publishers to sell e-books in Spain. Price FREE
Air Video. If you like movies you'll love this application. You can access your library of movies on your computer without having to download the iPad. The computer makes them live and transmitted via WiFi to the device. You only need to install a free application on your Mac or PC, configure a few options and you're set. Price € 2.39
OmniFocus. He had already talked about this great task manager in another article in my blog. It is an application that lets you organize your tasks perfectly adapting to your way of working. The price is high, and worth every penny, I've tried other applications and this is the best by far. You can use it with your application for Mac OS to your iPhone. Price € 31.99
